Whooping Cough Vaccinations

The recommendations for whooping cough (pertussis) vaccination in pregnancy have just been updated. Instead of being within 5 years of a pregnancy, it is now recommended to vaccinate in every pregnancy in the third trimester regardless of pregnancy spacing (ie can be less than 2 years). This offers the best pertussis protection in the newborn.
